As an (EDI) Coordinator for our esteemed fashion brand based in Los Angeles, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating seamless communication and transactions between our company and our partners, suppliers, and distributors.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the EDI processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintain and update existing EDI systems, ensuring compatibility with evolving business needs and technological advancements.
EDI Document Management : Manage the exchange of electronic documents such as purchase orders, invoices, shipment notices, and inventory reports.
Monitor the flow of data to guarantee timely and accurate transmission.
EDI Compliance : Stay abreast of EDI standards and regulations within the fashion industry, including GS1, ANSI X12, and EDIFACT.
Ensure that EDI transactions adhere to compliance requirements and data security protocols.
Issue Resolution : Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving EDI-related issues. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting : Monitor EDI transactional activity and performance metrics. Generate regular reports to evaluate system efficiency, identify trends, and recommend improvements for optimization.
Training and Support : Provide guidance and training to internal teams on EDI processes and best practices. Offer technical support and assistance to resolve EDI-related queries or concerns.
Vendor Management : Liaise with external vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to onboard them onto the EDI platform.
Coordinate testing and validation of EDI transactions to ensure seamless integration and data accuracy.
Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancement and automation within the EDI framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions that streamline operations and drive efficiency.
